Advanced Handgun Re-Training (In-Service Training) – 09R

Overview

Personal Protection Specialist (P.P.S.) Handgun Retraining is required for all registered/armed P.P.S. agents in Virginia within the 12-month period immediately preceding your registration expiration date.

The program includes the eight-hour classroom requirement and shooting qualification on the range.

Tuition: 1 1/2 Days - $150.00

3 Day Executive Protection Program (Atlanta, GA)

Overview

This program offers 3 days of instruction which each student participates in learning sophisticated, innovative skills and techniques pertaining to personal performance on protective assignments.
Presentations will review philosophy, doctrine, methodology, mechanics, guidelines, movements, dimensions and checklists for the protection of executives, officials, celebrities, religious and world leaders.

2 Day Pistol Class (Atlanta, GA)

A sophisticated shooting course designed for multiple aspects of personal protection.  The program is presented to teach the unique skills necessary for concealed carry and the precise use of a handgun in numerous applicable protective situations.
Course Content:

Program tuition includes: Classroom instruction, hands-on shooting and instruction on a live-fire range, special program notebook and certificates issued by the bDA.  Lunch provided when at the shooting range.
Requirements for Students:
Bring the following:

• Personal weapon (if unable to, inform training cadre and such will be provided) w/2 magazines
• Ear Protection
• Eye Protection
• Hand protection
• Flashlight
• Holster
• Magazine pouch
• Ammunition (200 rounds for personal pistol.  If pistol is furnished by bDA, ammunitionwill be available for purchased.)
• Cold weather gear as required
• Rain gear

Handgun Training – 07E and 09E

Overview

The ultimate advanced handgun program for the public or private personal protector. A sophisticated, all-encompassing shooting course designed for all aspects of personal protection by the Executive Protection Institute. A program designed to teach the unique skills necessary for concealed carry and the precise use of a handgun in all applicable protective situations.

Program tuition includes: Classroom instruction, hands-on shooting and instruction on a live-fire range, special program notebook and certificates issued by the Executive Protection Institute. Lunches will be provided when at the shooting range.

Students may bring their own weapons and equipment or utilize school weapons, magazines, pouches, holsters, flashlights, shooting glasses and protective hearing devices.

This program is the Personal Protection Specialist Advanced Handgun Course. It fulfills the requirements of the Virginia D.C.J.S. and is required to perform as a Personal Protection Specialist with a concealed handgun permit in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Tuition: 5 days - $750.00 ($650.00 if taken with the 7-Day Providing Executive Protection Program)

Physical Security for Consultants and P.P.S.

Overview

This is a non-technical program on the management of operations, applications, assessments and surveys of contemporary security systems. Participants will learn to upgrade existing systems or design of original protective measures for buildings, offices, residences and open space. The programs emphasized the management and consulting skills for physical security systems.
