Dignitary V.I.P. Protection for Law Enforcement and Other Government Agencies

Overview

A program designed for experienced, sworn officers to prepare them for professional hands-on personal protection of celebrities, witnesses, juries, defendants, victims, elected and appointed officials. It will emphasize up close and personal protection planning advance work and actual performance exercises on foot and in vehicles. Emphasis will be working in a political and/or judicial environment in larger urban areas.

This program offers a detailed, step-by-step approach to the planning, design and management of facility protection systems. Protective Services Management at Major and Special Events

Overview

This is an advanced training opportunity for a select few participants during the MARDI GRAS, Festivals and major events, in New Orleans, Louisiana and the surrounding suburbs. Meet the challenge of actually advancing, planning and executing protective missions New Orleans style.

The program consists of a minimum of class room lecture, with a focus on the planning and execution of protective assignments during actual real-time events. There is No Simulation here, you will be front and center, during full-blown Mardi Gras Activities, making plans and providing protection to instructor/protectees.

Protectors Pistol Defense

Overview

The ultimate advanced handgun program for the public or private personal protector. A sophisticated, all-encompassing shooting course designed for all aspects of personal protection by the Executive Protection Institute. A program designed to teach the unique skills necessary for concealed carry and the precise use of a handgun in all applicable protective situations.

This program provides the graduate with certification to apply to the Department of Criminal Justice Service (D.C.J.S.) in the state of Virginia extending reciprocity and recognition to other numerous states.

Each student will spend one full day with classroom, demonstrations, drills etc. There will be 2 full days of live fire shooting instruction on the range. Our chief instructor is the 2007 winner of the National Winchester World Challenge, Pistol Match and winner of numerous regional pistol competitions.

We will assist all students in obtaining multiple-state concealed carry permits.

Program tuition includes : Classroom instruction, hands-on shooting and instruction on a live-fire range, refreshments, snacks, special program notebook and certificates issued by the Executive Protection Institute.

Students may bring their own weapons and equipment or utilize school weapons, magazines, pouches, holsters, flashlights, shooting glasses and protective hearing devices.

This course will require 500 rounds of ammunition, which may be brought to the course or purchased on-site at discounted prices.

*This program is the Personal Protection Specialist Advanced Handgun Course. It fulfills the requirements of the Virginia D.C.J.S. and is required to perform as a Personal Protection Specialist with a concealed handgun permit in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Bed and Breakfast lodging is available, on a first come basis, to attendees for $50.00 a night. (This includes the night before the start of the program and the night that the program concludes.)
