Course Description:

Overview

Discover the power of linking your mindset to your performance

This one day course examines the specific responsibilities of the security professional and LEO and explores the true potential for violence. The course uses specific case studies and videos to help you examine the criminal thought process and will teach you to successfully detect pre-attack indicators, read body language, develop solid tactics, and link your mindset to your performance.

It will give you a detailed insight into the potential for violence in any environment in which security professionals/LEO work and provide important lifesaving information:

  • Understanding and interpreting body language
  • Verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Predicting and responding to disorderly conduct
  • Establishing physical and mental peak performance
  • The characteristics of an active shooter
  • How security/LEO should respond in an active shooter incident
  • Less than lethal force and deadly force
  • Reasonable responses based on immediate resources
